- We’ll then reach out to you if we feel that you’re a qualified candidate for our position. We’ll set up a phone interview with you that will take about 15 minutes.
- After the phone interview, we’ll have you come in for a working interview.
- You will need to have at least one work reference
- References need to be either a practice owner, dentist, or manager that you’ve worked with in the recent past.
- When you come in for the working interview, you will be considered a temp worker and will be compensated for your time.
- You will be compensated at a rate discussed during the phone interview based on your abilities. For dental assistants, use this rubric to gauge your rate.
- You will be expected to work as a temp worker and do all the duties of a temp worker. We will give you an office orientation when you come in, but afterwards, you’ll be expected to fulfil all duties reasonable to the role you will be filling.
- For a dental assistant position, you can be expected to perform the following tasks:
- Bring patients back and take clear x-rays in a timely manner
- Present patients to the doctor
- Assist with procedures such as fillings, SRPs, extractions, crowns (prep/temp and/or delivery), and using the iTero. (Rooms and equipment will already be set up for you)
- Interact with patients that make them feel comfortable and at ease.
- Sterilize instruments and help other staff
- If both the candidate and employer feel like this may be a good fit, we will have you come back to work a full week with a conditional offer for full employment.
- After full employment is offered and accepted, the employee will be expected to work as expected.
- If any issues start to arise in the first 60 days such as lateness, absence, and/or behavior – the employee will be immediately dismissed.
- Salaries are hourly with overtime. Most employees work anywhere from 72-80 hrs biweekly.
- Salary negotiations will be taken into consideration after a year of employment if the staff member has shown remarkable improvement and addition of value to the practice
